Artist's Comments: "I painted this at the request of my lovely wife, Roben. Ever since she was a little girl, she has wanted horses. Now she has them. Someone commented how lucky my wife must be to have me paint whatever she wants...what they don't know is this is actually the first painting I've ever completed for her in the twenty-two years we've been married.

"This painting hangs in our living room, right over the fireplace. The barn is one that's about a mile away from my house and the sky I shot right out my back door one stormy summer evening. Though Roben loves the painting, she still wants horses. Maybe someday, Honey."
