Artist's Comments: "This is the final piece of the series, "Two Tracks", "The Other Side of the Tracks", and "Tracking Mud". The cowboy has crossed the tracks and made every attempt to elude the storm, but alas, it has overtaken him. He dons his slicker and guides his horse along the middle of the ridge to avoid both lightening and flash floods.
"The technique I used on this piece is the same as I used on "Two Tracks" and"The Other Side of the Tracks". Gessoed paper, mounted to board and painted with very thin oil. The spur is metallic silver vinyl and there is sand glued on the lower third of the painting. If I could have figured out how to glue water on, I may have, but the poor cowboy is probably wet enough. Limited edition giclée prints are available."
