Artist's Comments: "This is one of my earliest wildlife pieces. I, like many, am fascinated by the wolf. He is a magnificent creature, inciting awe whenever seen in the wild. Here I have tried to depict two wolves (the one in the foreground obviously the alpha) running through their domain, patrolling their territory or perhaps looking for their next meal.

"These wolves are painted on canvas mixing both a transparent technique with a more traditional, opaque one. Over the years, this has been a favorite of many and is in my personal collection. Limited edition giclée prints are available."
